The least expensive of the below medication treatments would be citalopram (generic Celexa).  This should be purchased as 40 mg tablets which are easily broken in half and taken one half tablet per day.  The prescription can be written for 30 tablets, allowing two months worth per prescription and an additional savings.

SSRI Helps Premature Ejaculation: In a DB crossover study of 147 men with PE, sertraline (Zoloft) reduced PE in 81% with 66% relapsing within 6 months of stopping sertraline. Premature Ejaculation Helped by Citalopram and Paroxetine: Study of 30 men with life-long rapid ejaculation found both SSRIs tested helped. DB PC study 20 mg/d each med. 4 week placebo then meds. After paroxetine and citalopram, time to ejaculation gradually increased from 18 and 21 seconds to approximately 170 and 44 seconds. Measured at home using stopwatches. Clomipramine Helps Premature Ejaculation: Four patients for whom 25mg PRN wasn’t effective were tried on o, 10, 20, and 30 mg/d ofr 3 weeks each with 30 mg/d increasing ejaculation from 25 sex to 220 with increase satisfaction. Sildafenil (Viagra) Helps Premature Ejaculation: 31% London and 38% NY have premature. Viagra raises average time to orgasm from 1 minute to 15 minutes. New Scientist 3/1/03 pg 38

Paxoxetine Helped Premature Ejaculation, but not Mirtazapine: In a DB PC, 18 men ejaculating in an average of 15 seconds intravaginally were helped increase the delay 6-fold to 119 seconds with paroxetine 20mg/d.  However, mirtazapine 30 mg/d had no significant effect.
